Every once in awhile, homeowners get tired of seeing the same old thing, day after day, especially in the kitchen. This is especially the case if you haven’t changed anything in years. Everyday wear and tear is a thing that happens, and it eventually takes a toll, especially on your cabinets. But do you need a complete kitchen remodel, or could you get by with just cabinet refacing?
If you think about it, you spend a lot of time in the kitchen, and it should be one that makes you feel great. In most cases, it does, and we’re glad that can be the case. However, if you have cabinet doors that are in ill repair, have squeaky hinges, or just aren’t up with the current trends, you might want to change something. And that’s where we can help.
Select Floors does more than just flooring, and cabinet refacing is one of those things. Our showrooms are located in both Marietta, GA and Roswell, GA, and we invite you to stop by at your convenience. One of our trained salespeople will be happy to assist you by answering any questions that you have, and giving you some examples of how we can help get your kitchen quickly up to your own personal standards.
What is Cabinet Refacing?
Cabinet refacing is actually a simple procedure. It is important to note, however, that refacing is only a valid option if your cabinet boxes are in good shape. If they’re not, the refacing process won’t do you any good.
However, if they are, we can replace exposed areas with a nice veneer of either plastic laminate or real wood. It’s as if you had brand new cabinets installed, and no one will be able to tell the difference. We don’t just stop at the veneer. Cabinet refacing comes complete with brand new molding, knobs, pulls and hinges as well.
One of the things that homeowners seem to appreciate about most about this procedure, is that you are still able to use your kitchen. It takes a lot less time, and actually only costs about half of what you would spend in purchasing brand new cabinets.
